14 ways to be a better digital marketer in 2014

Are you resolving to be a more dedicated digital marketer this year…and actually enjoy the process? If so, you might want to check out the presentation I recently delivered to help kick off the year’s events for the Birmingham chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

It’s clear this will be a year of transition, as Google continues to pump time and resources into making Google+ a hub for your entire digital life.  Meanwhile, Facebook is struggling to retain its relevancy amid an exodus of young people who feel the network ‘s limitless reach leaves them with too little privacy and freedom for expression. And mobile will continue its unstoppable march to become the dominant way we interact with information and each other.

We could view the year to come as a stressful set of unknowns, or we could embrace the evolution and position ourselves to thrive, personally and professionally, no matter how the technology and trends take shape. What are your digital resolutions this year?
